Kitsch restaurant in Amsterdam: groovy food, plus disco atmosphere equals fab experience. Some people say it’s like walking into a scene from Michael Jackson’s Billy Jean video. The plates and cutlery never match at Moeders (Mothers), but that has no bearing on the food. Come here for well executed, homely European cuisine with a Dutch twist. Service is friendly, and if you bring a photo of your own mother, they'll stick it on the wall to join the thousands already up there.

Mamouche is a beautiful North African teahouse located in De Pijp, with a Parisian flair for detail. Romantic and posh, it has been a hit with locals ever since it’s opening in 2002. Dishes such as couscous with saffron-baked pumpkin tempt your tastebuds. Chocoholic? round off your meal with the Ahram, a dark, mysterious pyramid embellished with a nutty caramel sauce.

This very popular restaurant in the Jordaan, still feels hip even though it has been around for a very long time. The pastas are all home-made and the wonderful Italian bread comes out of Toscanini's own bakery. Besides a seasonal fixed menu, there is also a menu of the day with its own delights. Be sure to save room for the Italian ice-cream…it is even better, than it looks.

The Odessa is located in a replica of Russian merchant ship. Here you can have fantastic drinks, dinners and tunes to dance on. In winter in our funky restaurant or glasshouse on the deck. In summer it all happens on one of the sunny decks. Odessa is also the perfect spot for groups. The international kitchen by Marco Witteveen prepares surprising and stylish food come along with the seasons. So this is the perfect place to moor your boat and have a cocktail or celebrate your birthday, dining and dancing on the water.

Pier 10 restaurant, just behind the Central Station, is an Amsterdam gem overlooking the vast, busy sweep of the River IJ. Built in the 1930’s as a shipping office, Pier 10 is now a beloved, intimate restaurant of two dining rooms, one with direct views of the IJ. The ambience is relaxed and casual, with plants and candles but no white tablecloths or plush upholstery, and yet it is as romantic as it could possibly be. Note that there are two sittings, so the second might be the more romance-inspiring of the two, depending on sunset, moonrise, star alignment.

Italian restaurant 4 Stagioni, has definitely found its groove. The interior is a former butcher-shop-turned-restaurant with colourful antique tiles on the walls portraying the four seasons, hence the name 4 Stagioni.
Very fun and funky! Once you try the crunchy pizzas and al dente pasta's, you too will become a fan. The loud theatrical presence of some of the waitresses and oodles of children can make for rather noisy surroundings, but it’s all a part of the Italian experience.

Although Stout might look like yet another trendy restaurant, this one is quite different. Much more relaxed with jazzy music and imaginative culinary delights. The food even surpasses expectations with the unexpected combinations of flavour in every dish. The staff is very attentive and professional, and will help direct you through the menu.

Nomads works fine as an à la carte restaurant, but it also serves as a convenient location for parties, special events, presentations and meetings, among other things. Nomads can seat 130 people for a sit-down dinner and serves 250 people for parties and other events. Nomads is a beautiful location consisting of two interconnected sections. As soon as you come through the large copper door of Nomads, you enter into a totally different and fabulous world. The kitchen at Nomads is run by our chef Ali Ballout. .
